York University music Professor Lisette Canton will conduct the New England Symphonic Ensemble; vocal soloists Danielle Talamantes, soprano, and Rob McGinness, baritone; and a choir, more than 165 voices, including The York University Singers, the Philharmonic Choir of the Newfoundland Symphony Orchestra, Coro Vivo Ottawa, and the Grand Choeur du Conservatoire de Musique de Gatineau.

Coro Vivo Ottawa (CVO) is a community choir with a membership of approximately 40 members drawn from across the National Capital Region.

They sing a wide range of music, from classical works to Broadway tunes. Performances include repertoire in various languages including English, French, Spanish and German.

CVO values community outreach. Each year the choir performs for seniors’ homes, hospitals and other community groups

The choir is supported by the community at large.
